It was good to see Rowan Williams in all his finery yesterday (along with lots of other people in fancy dress - I sincerely believe we would all benefit from being allowed to play dress-up more).
I recently read Rowan's Rule, which presents a wonderfully warm and spiritual man facing a very difficult situation. His intelligence and humility are very encouraging. I think it is telling that the Archbishop was also in the news today for his letter to a 6-year old.
